Textbooks are expensive, heavy, and easy to forget once finals are over. Rather than letting them sit in a closet, pass them forward: we collect college and school textbooks for free and route them to students and programs who need them.

Even editions that are a year or two old still have plenty of teaching left in them. We give each textbook a second life with schools, literacy programs, and readers across Fresno and Clovis instead of letting it end up out of landfills.

Textbooks and study materials we take

College and high-school textbooks, study guides, reference titles, test-prep books, lab manuals, and certification guides are all welcome, in recent or slightly older editions. Clean copies are ideal; workbooks already written in are the main exception. When in doubt, include it and let the sorting decide.

Donate or recycle: which is better

Donate first whenever a textbook is still usable — an edition or two behind the current printing almost always still teaches the same material. Recycling is the right call only for genuinely outdated or damaged titles, and we sort that out so usable books are not set aside by default.
