There is no cost to you, and no drop-off required. The books you pass forward continue their journey through our community book-sharing network, finding a good home with Fresno and Clovis readers, schools, and little free libraries so they get a second life instead of being thrown out.

How doorstep book pickup works

Booking takes about a minute: give us your address, choose a collection day, and set the boxes somewhere protected by your door, garage, or lobby. There is no account and no fee, and you do not need to be home — the pickup is contactless. If plans change, just let us know and we will move the day.

What you can set out

Almost any book in readable condition qualifies, and you can add DVDs, CDs, VHS tapes, vinyl records, audiobooks, board games, puzzles, and video games to the same pickup. No sorting or cleaning needed — only moldy or water-damaged items cannot be used, so when in doubt, include it.

A sturdy box keeps everything easy to carry, and a covered spot keeps it dry if rain is coming. For a large load, mention the rough count so we send the right vehicle.

Why pickup is free

Reselling a portion of donated books funds the service, and most of what you give is passed forward to Fresno and Clovis readers, classrooms, and little free libraries. We are an independent local service rather than a nonprofit, so we cannot issue tax forms, but written confirmation is available on request.
